The operator failed to maintain control of the vehicle and it exited the south edge of the roadway. The vehicle entered a drainage ditch and overturned several times. As the vehicle overturned, the operator was ejected. The vehicle came to a rest upside down in the drainage ditch.

The 27-year-old male operator of the Chevrolet who was not properly restrained, was pronounced deceased on the scene. Identification of the victim is pending notification to the next of kin.
