Assault, Robbery of Dover Teen

A 13-year-old was assaulted during a robbery on Saturday evening

February 4, 2017 in the parking lot of Dollar Tree on North DuPont Highway. While walking in the area, the teen was assaulted by two male suspects, striking him in the head and torso, knocking him to the ground. The suspects then stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled southbound on foot. The suspects are described as black males with one wearing light color jeans, black jacket, white t-shirt, and black shoes. The second suspect was wearing black jeans and a white hooded sweatshirt.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.
